PAC International Logistics is looking for a Export Operations Coordinator to work at 12801 S. Figueroa St., Los Angeles, CA 90061
Job Description:
Candidate should have excellent interpersonal skills, a positive and persistent attitude, and the ability to multi-task and handle quickly changing priorities.
The position reports to Export Marketing Manager and Upper Management. Minimum 3 years of export experiences and minimum of 3 years of International Freight
Forwarding and Logistic Industry. In depth knowledge of Air and Ocean Export procedures. Proficient in computer software, Microsoft office, Freight Stream, WWF,
and other related freight/cargo’s programs. Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration, Management and/or Logistics Management, or related degree.
Preferred Certified IMDG (DGI) and/or Certified DG / Hazardous Material Training, and/or Certified Indirect Air Carrier Training.
Duties:
Responsible for all directions and coordination of all export activities, export shipment scheduling, loading plan (for consolidation cargos),
and problems solving. Manage daily export operations of Air and Ocean. Customer services if needed. Supervise the operations stuff and meet all customer expectations.
Negotiate rates with shipping carriers and airlines carriers, prepare and submit quotations to prospect accounts on a daily basis. Daily interaction and reporting to
Management, and submitting profit and loss statement report on a weekly basis. Develop and implement new method of export shipment strategies in order to increase
the weekly export volume.
